Where is Rex? App
This project was done for my Research & Writing for design class. The project was given to us to teach us how to research the necessary properties in order to design for certain audiences. My project was targeted for kids, and the idea stemmed from my love of traveling and dinosaurs. -
ID Redesign
ID redesign project for my typography class using only the words that are on our originally ID while trying to make the words represent yourself, and a word that you were given for the semester. My word was "hateful", in order to create a strong feeling of hateful, I chose the colors white, black, and red to create a strong contrast. Most of the words form a stabbing motion to show the hatred towards my name. -
Activist Project: Steve Biko
The activist assignment was an assignment given to us to construct a DVD Box set release about a certain activist. At the beginning of the semester, we were given an activist, and with the name, we had to research about that person. This project consisted of an event poster, book, book jacket, trailer, trailer cd cover, and the box to hold the book and trailer. Our challenge was to research about our activist and then find themes that we wanted to work with. The assignment was not to simply design everything about the activist, but to give the look and feel of their time period or cause. My activist was Steve Biko, a South African activist who started the Black Consciousness Movement. My project theme shows the journey that Biko started in South Africa that eventually lead them to freedom. Trailer: https://vimeo.com/54927076
